Is not every crime a "hate" crime? If a crime is committed against you, the justice should be the same no matter who you are, black or white, female or male, straight or gay. Are we saying that a crime against a straight person is not just as bad as one committed against a gay person? Does anyone else think we have lost our common sense in this country?

Our common sense is slowing seeping away. I also agree with the November 2008 as a good push over the cliff for common sense.
